"Exhibitors definitely felt the quality of visitors was strong and business appeared brisk for many. We were continuously busy, took a record number of orders and had some great meetings with both existing and new customers. The new Kooky range from Taf Toys was very well received as were our new baby musical toys. Overall, we consider the show to be a great success and we have already re-booked our space for next year"

"We'll certainly be adding the Baby Show for Trade into our plans for 2012. It's a great way to meet the buyers from well-known stores and independent boutiques under one roof and provides the ideal opportunity to meet other people working in the sector."

- Joelle Seksum, founder and mum of two, Momymoo

"The Baby show for trade is a very important show for us, at a very busy time of year. We enjoy showing all the great gifts offerings for Christmas and for the new year. Meeting our buyers face to face is very important and great fun, and this show was extremely busy for us. We saw many independent retailers who find it easy to access the show for a day only so they are not out of their business for too long. For the larger retail buying teams based mainly in the South East it's a no brainer to visit, and they were all there again this year. There might be Cologne, ABC etc, but nothing beats a home grown UK show with a more intimate feel. We'll be back."

 - Ginny Jogee, Owner  1 Two Kids, 2011 exhibitor, stand G8.

"After a second successful show at The Baby Show For Trade, I am delighted to have been able to secure my space for the third year running. The show is well organised with a real variety of visitors coming on my stand.   I found the Clarion staff and personnel at Olympia  extremely helpful and the exhibition generated a lot of new leads and customers for the Childs Play range of books."

 - Lynn Ashton, Field Sales Manager, Childs Play. 2011 exhibitor

"The Baby Show for Trade proved to be a very successful medium for launching SKEANIE into the UK market. The quality of the visitors was impressive but more impressive was to be surrounded by other similar businesses in the innovation zone which proved to be fantastic from a networking perspective we look forward to returning in 2012 with our next collection of beautiful SKEANIE shoes for infants and juniors"

 - Nick Richardson, MD, 2011 exhibitor  SKEANIE

"The 2011 Baby Show for Trade was a great success for Koeka and Angel Living, we got to show some new and existing retailers what we had to offer in a warm and friendly environment.  It was great to see so many press attending this year and it will be nice to see the show grow from strength to strength.

 - Sam Burrough, MD, 2011 exhibitor  Angel Living (UK Distributor for Koeka)

"The Azaria team had a fantastic time at The Baby Show for Trade.  We wanted to use it as a platform to launch our new branding and website to all exhibitors, and the feedback has been excellent.  From the cakes, Azaria bags and branded cafe, you couldn't fail to spot us, and all the press appointments and celebrity guests meant we were buzzing around from start to finish.  There were a good number of companies exhibiting - from large to small - and the overall vibe was great.  We were delighted to be involved in the show and have the opportunity to show why we are the leading family specialist agency in the UK."

- Amber Steventon, MD, Azaria PR, 2011 exhibitor

"It has been a really fantastic show for MaByLand this year; we had a huge amount of interest from a number of retailers. Lots of independent retailers explained that they were interested in looking for unique products that will individualise their shop and establish a clear USP.  These retailers felt that MaByLand's products hit the mark and would help make their shop or online business more unique and standout from the rest! We were finalists in Rattles to Riches this year, which gave us an incredible opportunity to pitch to the industry giants!  The competition gave us a great amount of exposure, and the ideal platform to promote our brand. We were also selected to display our Trek Snuggle Carrier in the New Product Showcase and present on stage in the Demonstration Zone. These are just a few new ways in which The Baby Show for Trade help to promote brands like ours."

 - Sheena Woods, a Mum of 2, founder of MabyLand .

"The target of The Baby Show for Trade in London has been achieved and the result topped sales of former Kind & Jugend in September at Cologne. We'll intensify our efforts in the U.K. & Ireland market for the next few years to reach a further substantial growing of our brand market penetration and share"

 - Siegfried Buettner, 2011 exhibitor  COREXA® pearhead®

Visitor quotes from The Baby Show For Trade 2011

"We enjoyed the show and found it to be a really worthwhile use of our time.  We know that some of the brands we spoke with were a little disappointed by footfall and there might have been a lack of buzz at various points in the day, but from a retailers point of view it was a great source of information and we are just hoping that it continues to grow and become an important part of the trade show schedule. We found a good mix of our key brands showing (including UPPAbaby, Merino Kids & Oxo), alongside some smaller brands that were launching new innovative products. One of our favourite finds came from a new brand that we had seen in the USA called Ba great product, beautiful packaging and very clever marketing!"

  - Jason Heller, Huggle

"Jan and I enjoyed the show this year, very relaxed atmosphere and a chance to talk to the trade. I personally think that were too many side stalls but in the main it was a worthwhile trip, not less the surprising value for money that London offered. We are probably too used to the soaring costs of Euroland, which now makes the U.K very affordable, hotels and eating out were very reasonable. One thing that I would say though is that parking is expensive and it would be good if parking could be included or discounted for future events."

- Derek Bavaird, Jan Stewart Prams

"TwinsUK has the biggest choice online of products specially for twins, triplets and more so as a visitor I was on the lookout for anything that might fit into our varied portfolio. In the event there was nothing at the show that seemed specifically for multiple births  but I did particularly enjoy all the new businesses showcasing their products. Rattle to Riches was an absorbing feature. My favourite product? Tummy with Mummy& great name, great nursery product with great credibility."

- Avril Deane, TwinsUK
